Started doing Yoga about 5 to 5 months back with Rajiv Sir who runs the institute Pragya Yog Sansthanam. Rajiv Sir’s teaching has completely transformed my yoga practice and teaching for the better. In class he clearly and intelligently directs our awareness so that we appreciate the purpose of each asana and have a stronger connection with our body and the movement of energy through it. Sir encourages us to be curious and explore postures, not to adopt a one size fits all approach, making for safer practice and teaching. Sir’s immense experience and mastery of his craft are immediately evident in the ease with which he communicates insight with humility and integrity. “Rajiv Sir’s teaching puts the emphasis on embodiment in yoga. There is a real sensitivity that sir puts across in such a simple, down to earth way and he combines this with a no nonsense approach to anatomy that makes everything really clear. I am so happy to have someone like him guiding me and my family and teaching us yoga. It’s not about just learning the asana in the right way but the emphasis he puts in explaining to us and checking on a regular basis about our understanding of what we have learnt makes it fun and challenging. His genuine commitment to developing the practice of yoga is inspiring and enlightening. The classes are intense; the work goes deep and stays in the body long after class is over!! Thanking you sir for transforming our lives and teaching us the importance of a healthy living in mind, body and spirit.

I have been an avid student of Rajiv Narayan Pandey for more than six years now and will hopefully remain a student of his through my life. To me, Yoga and Pragya Yog are synonymous because I did not truly know what Yoga is till I became a student of his ! My six years of effort and learning has gone a long way in shaping who I am TODAY. I have become more body-mind-food-drink-sleep conscious, more focused, more calm and composed, more energetic and more united with my own self like never before. I truly want to credit Rajiv for this change and transformation journey and sincerely wish him and Pragya Yog the very best in the coming days.
